Many schools choose to lock all student/parent accounts while report cards are being created or over the summer. This option locks all student/parent accounts including e-mail alerts and is a good option if grades need to be adjusted at the end of the term. Students/parents can continue to receive e-mail communication via the Communicate tab. If you previously locked an individual account, their account will remain locked even if you lock all/unlock all accounts with this setting.

  1. Navigate to the Settings tab.
  2. Click on the Parent sub tab.
  3. Check the check box to enable.
  4. Give a reason for the lock out. This will help reduce the amount of calls your school will receive.
