1. How does Gradelink know when to send out alerts?

2. Our calendar is showing the wrong day, what's going on?


Solution:

Gradelink allows Administrators to assign a Time Zone to their school. This value is used as a reference for all time-sensitive actions, including everything from automatic alerts to refreshing the calendar. Some schools will also need to check the box labeled Enable Daylight Savings Time, depending on whether or not their respective countries are participating.


Normally, this is configured for you during the Implementation process. However, if you'd like to adjust your school's Time Zone:

  1. Go to the Settings tab
  2. Click on the Date/Time sub tab.
  3. Select the appropriate Time Zone and decide whether or not to enable Daylight Savings Time
  4. Click Save Changes
