Gradelink gives Administrators the ability to prevent teachers from making changes to their assignment types.


This setting can be helpful for schools that want to standardize their grading system by making all teachers use the same categories as well as for schools that want assignment types to appear on their report cards and need to make sure that the assignment types are consistent across multiple terms and classes. 


To enable or disable this setting:

  1. Go to the Settings tab
  2. Click on the Teacher sub-tab
  3. Enable or disable the setting by checking or unchecking the box labeled "Prevent Changes to Assignment Types"
  4. Click Save Changes



Note: If you create new classes while this setting is active, you will need to disable it in order to set up assignment types for those classes.
