Grades earned by 8th graders in high school courses can be displayed on the student's transcript even if the transcript is set to display grades for grade level 9-12 only.

Example: An advanced 8th grade student takes a high school level course. Later, a transcript is generated showing only 9th-12th grade classes and credits. This setting will ensure the class appears on the transcript, even though the student took the class in the 8th grade.

This setting is hidden by default. Contact Gradelink Support to have it activated.

  1. Click on the Classes tab
  2. Select the appropriate term, and then select a class from the list to the right.
  3. Check box next to Ignore Filter
  4. Click Save Changes

This setting will ensure the class appears on the student’s transcript, regardless of grade level parameters set for the transcript.
