What if a student/parent fills out the “New Enrollment” form instead of the “Re-enrollment form” when attempting to re-enroll an existing student?
- Click the EnrollMe tab on the left side of the page, and select your desired student.
- On the Workflow sub-tab at the top of the page, select the correct student from the “Import to Student ID” drop-down menu.
(This tells Gradelink that these are the same student, not two different students with the same name).
- Click Save
- Click the Import sub-tab at the top of the page and choose “Create Import” then choose “Run Import Now“.
(This action will merge the EnrollMe data with the pre-existing data on the Students tab, and will change the student’s status found on the Students tab from “Active” to “Re-enrollment”).
- This import will automatically raise the student’s grade level by one value. To revert this change, navigate to the Students tab on the left side of the page, select your desired student, and change their grade level from the “Grade” drop-down menu. Make sure to hit Save!
Note: Be sure to follow the above steps exactly for this situation! If the “New Enrollment” form that the student/parent filled out is imported, you will have two accounts for the same student, with each possessing a different Student ID.
