Customizing Report Cards can seem like a daunting task, but Gradelink makes it simple through the use of Report Card Profiles.

Many schools alter their report cards slightly for certain types of students or for students in a specific grade level. For example, many lower level students don't require a GPA, while it would be essential for higher level students.

A Report Card Profile is a collection of settings that allows Gradelink save specific configurations so schools don't need make changes to their report cards every time they want to generate one.

Profiles have three parts:

  • Report Card Options, which control the visibility of elements such as Daily Attendance, Numbered Comments, and so on. These can be altered on the report card generation page before you hit "Submit".
  • Profile Settings, which affect the report card in more advanced ways, such as controlling how large the margin is at the top of the page or how wide certain columns are.
  • HTML Fields, which allow the user to add custom content to the report cards using HTML.

Each report card template can have multiple profiles associated with it. To learn more about creating report card profiles, please click here.

Note: Gradelink staff will help configure report card profiles for you during the Implementation process. If you would like to make changes to your profiles, we highly recommend consulting Gradelink staff first to avoid accidental formatting errors.
