Timeline estimates are measured in business days and are based on average turaround times for lunch setups. Customization requests may take longer.
**Monthly hosting and support fees do not include any fees associated with payment processing services. In the case that a payment processor is integrated with the lunch system, payment of fees will be made directly to the third party payment gateway or processor company.

Admins can see daily and monthly lunch counts. Parents get a receipt of payment. Sample reports are shown at the bottom of this article.
CAN I CUSTOMIZE THE LUNCHES?
Yes. You can customize the menu options. You can offer different food every day. You can also offer "meals" such as Burger Fries and Drink for $10. You can also offer a la carte items that would allow a parent to order two burgers, three fires and one drink.
CAN I PROVIDE EMERGENCY LUNCHES?
Yes. If a student forgot their lunch, you can provide them the lunch. In order to collect payment, ask the parent to order lunch before the end of the day so that you can collect payment and so the order appears on the correct day. If the parent isn't able to order the lunch that day but orders it the following day (or another day) you can edit the date of the order on the backend so that your reports are accurate.
WHAT INFORMATION WILL I NEED TO PROVIDE?
You’ll just need to provide us with a list of the lunch choices by date for the first 30 days of lunch ordering. We’ll provide a training video to show you how to manage the lunch orders going forward.
MAY I CONTACT SALES DURING THIS PROCESS?
Yes. Our Gradelink sales reps are available from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm PST every day. We’re happy to help you throughout the process.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET SET UP?
Once you send over your first 30 days of lunch items and any other relevant information, we’ll just need 2-3 business days to get your forms set up.
HOW MUCH TIME WILL MY PART OF THE PROCESS TAKE?
We’ve made getting your lunch ordering system as simple and intuitive as possible. Sending us your lunch order information should take no more than 5-10 minutes, and we’ll take care of the rest!
IS PAYSIMPLE INTEGRATION WITH LUNCH FREE?
Yes. There is no additional cost to integrate PaySimple with Lunch however you will need to purchase a PaySimple account which you can do at paysimple.com. Mention Gradelink to get a discount.
AM I ABLE TO LOG INTO THE LUNCH SYSTEM USING MY GRADELINK LOGIN?
You will have a separate login for the lunch system. The lunch system is complete separate from Gradelink SIS.
WILL MY LUNCH ORDERS APPEAR IN GRADELINK?
Lunch order data is NOT sent or shared with Gradelink SIS at this time.
WHAT URL DOES THE LUNCH ORDER FORM USE?
The default URL is schoolinitials.gradelinklunch.com. The URL can be customized on request. For instance you could use a subdomain of your school's website url such as lunch.myschool.com. If you choose to make a subdomain, you will need to create an A Record for the desired subdomain and point it to the IP address for the lunch system. Gradelink support staff will provide the IP for you.
WHAT PAYMENT PROCESSORS CAN I USE?
PaySimple, Stripe, and Authorize.net can be used with Lunch Order Pro.
CAN I FORWARD CREDIT CARD PROCESSING FEES TO STUDENTS/PARENTS?
Yes. Some areas have very specific rules about forwarding processing fees therefore we advise you to ensure you are compliant with consumer protection laws in your state before doing so.
CAN STAFF ORDER LUNCHES?
Yes. Staff can use the same lunch order form as students to order lunch. When selecting the grade level, choose "staff member" as the grade level. Admins can track student and staff lunches separately using the "Daily Report".
