1. Our school uses demerits, how do we keep track of them?
Demerits are included on Gradelink's list of "Actions Taken" by default, so it is easy to record them using the Counseling section of the Students tab.
To do so:
- Go to the Students Tab
- Click on the name of the student you would like to add a demerit for
- Click on Counseling
- Choose a Grade Level in the Drop down menu
- Choose "Demerit" in the Action Taken/Referred To drop down menu
When you're all done, don't forget to click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
Note: While it is possible to properly save demerits with only selecting the Grade Level, it remains important to fill out each incident with as much information as possible.
