Possible Scenario:

1. Can we set up email alerts for parents?

2. Can we set academic, attendance, and behavior alerts for parents?


Solution:

Students and parents can choose to subscribe to email alerts regarding grades, attendance, and behavior. Grade alerts are sent out every hour. This means that in most cases if a teacher makes a mistake they will have time to correct it without ever triggering an email alert.  Attendance and conduct/behavior alerts are sent immediately. 


  1. When logged in as a parent, click on the Alerts tab.
  2. Select Grade Alerts, Attendance Alerts, or Behavior Alerts at the top of the page.
  3. Apply the various alerts you would like to receive.




NOTE:  If the school uses both Daily and Class Attendance, the Attendance Type can be selected from the drop down menu at the top of the page and appropriate alerts can be selected.
